Do we need carnet?
The requirements of carnet for your bike, cars, or RV depends on the destination you are heading for with adventure and Thrust of you machine.
In Nepal and China, carnet is not mandatory. As Nepal follows different system called, Customs, Road Permit, Trip Permit papers. If you have Carnet, you can save since it cost 21 USD for bikes, 41 USA for Cars, jeeps and RVs. Similarly Tibet and China, follows the Invitations, Road Permits, and Deposit System with basis fees.
However if you are going, to Bhutan, Sri Lanka, India, Kazakhstan, Laos, Russia, Vieatnam, Kyrgyzstan and beyond you need Carnet.
